Why Is Timer Important
Time can be a goal. It can also be an important feedback loop. Aerobic exercise,
in particular, makes time a familiar tool.
"I use this both for working out and for working. I used to use the now 30/30 app for work productivity and this timer is by far the closest I’ve come to what I liked about that app. I have a series of timers saved for numerous repeat tasks, such as my working workout routine or my morning planning process. They keep me on task and moving quickly through things. I also just discovered the overtime setting, which keeps the app active if a timer sounds, but you haven’t finished what you’re working on. That was really the one feature that I had previously thought was lacking in this app. Feels like there are likely other settings I haven’t figured out, lots of different types of timers etc without feeling overwhelming like some other workout timer apps I also tried. I wish I could use it on my Mac, but other than that, well done."
